About the Bristol Highlands
The Bristol grew up with Louisville. And we’re proud to be part of this great community! The Bristol Bar & Grille opened its first restaurant location on Bardstown Road in the heart of the Highlands in September 1977, and it quickly became a favorite local dining destination. Louisvillians came from all over town to enjoy The Bristol’s aged choice steaks, pasta, fresh seafood, salads, sandwiches, appetizers–including our famous Green Chili Wontons—an award-winning wine list, wine by the glass and extensive beer and beverage selection. So many of you came to The Bristol, in fact, that The Bristol started coming to you!
